How to grab the hex code for any color on your screen

You can use a similar method with Irfanview. You still need the printscreen if you are not working from a local image, but when you click on any point in the image the hex code is displayed in the title bar as long as you hold the mouse button down. There is also a plugin for FF that shows hex codes directly from any page that you visit.
