I have a website based on travel. I have placed good keywords with quality content as per the requirements of search engines. But I didn't get enough traffic to my website. Then someone suggest me to follow make a change in my website. Now I am confused. I don't know what to do...

How much time you have done seo for your site? How many quality backlinks you have builded? Also you need to give priority quality than quantity for backlink. Make a plan to market your products. Also if you confused about on page optimization then solve it.

I guess you don't have much experience on SEO which is quite necessary if you want to get traffic to your website. Anyway you can learn SEO by reading this IM forum and gather knowledge about SEO. Agter that you can implement on your website or else you can hire someone from here for the help.

There are lots of SEO techniques can be used to generate traffic. Unfortunately, you didn't describe here what are the changes you have done to your site. Beside, it needs hard works, time and patience to see the result of SEO job that you have done.

To keep users in your websites, make your website easy to navigate, put some nice colors and make a good typography. I think SEO is for getting visitors, graphic design (the look of the website) is for keeping them.

There are hordes of Travel related websites online these days. You've said it yourself that you are not 100% confident about your SEO skills, so maybe having such a competitive niche isn't such a good idea.
