Selecting the best font for your website designing is necessary. For a professional designer, to select a right font is his responsibility. There are lots of fonts types are there to use but some look excellent and some are low in readability. So to achieve the higher visitor attraction ratio, it’s perfect to choose a those fonts that allow users to read and recognize it properly. Here are some fonts which are widely used in website design.

Arial: this font gives the professional look to your words. Basically this font is used in a business website.

Times New Roman: it’s the default font of Microsoft word which is the most popular font among people. Even though it’s too old and over used still it’s much more popular.

Impact: Impact is the third most popular font in website designing. It gives bold look effect to your words. This font is used for headings of the website. Its dark look effect easily attracts visitors

Comic Sans: this font represents the entertainments in your words. It’s funny in use. This font is used in entertainment website.

While @fontface is an attempt to alleviate the problem, if you don't jump through that particular hoop remember that the fonts displayed on a computer screen must be resident on the computer. If you choose to use an unusual font that you have available on your computer most visitors may see your page in the browser default font. It is best practice to list a font family, a group of very similar fonts that are available on most computers ending with a generic serif or sanserif font listing.
