    Latest thinking on hiding code

Anything new on this front? Can you hide your html code and if so, how? I am in competitive industry, have good results, don't want people stealing my code.

Leave the page blank?? Of course there would still be header information. Html is the instruction set that the browser uses to build the page. Every browser I have ever seen gives the option to view the source code. There is nothing special about html code. Are you really referring to some scripts or something else?

There are some things you can try to hide your code. But, even if you can stop the browser displaying the code, what is to stop someone using 'wireshark' to capture the data coming down the wire.

If someone wants your HTML code, they will get it.

Yes, there are some java scripts, and they work very well i with html5, right now i can not remember which they are, so, when you open the source only see one line of html that is unusefull.
But that protection is relative. With firefox and some addons, the code can be gotten. Or you can download the file and save as a html file and you can modify it, and you are done.
Unfortunately, there almost nothing to protect 100% your code source.
