Creating a "backside" in frontpage

Many of the website I see allow for people to go into a login backside that lets them edit specific sections on webpages. I am wondering how they allow them to do this and if this is something you can setup in Frontpage.

maybe these page can be edit to put adsense

That is easy for programmers ... you need a database to save email and passwort and a user query. If visitor ist user -> if user is logged in -> show big page xyz. If visitor is not a user sho small pages
