Thread: Changing content in Bulk?

I have content for a new site that is around 3,000 articles. It's a hobby of mine, and as a writer, I have tonnes of content that I just write for fun and keep. I want to make a site but as keyword research wasn't the main point when writing it, I want to change the main focus for all of the content.

Let's say my keyphrase is "noisy V8 engines" and I want to change it to "the fastest V8 engines", is there an easy way of doing this instead of Ctrl+F and replace? I have all of the content in a zip file, maybe a virtual assistant? My only problem with that is it's raw, unique content that I don't want to just hand out to someone, especially as it's nowhere to be seen on the internet.

I don't know if this is what you are asking, but a tabbed text editor like Notepad ++ (freeware) has a global find and replace function. If you want to replace a phrase in a group of articles open them in tabs and do a replace in all open documents. I don't know if it would balk at 3000 tabs, but it has never complained with a few hundred open. There is also a save all button that will save the changes across the board.
