    Over all graphics should help.

Be careful of file size (smaller is better for the web) and don't put too many on one page. Large files and too many can slow down page load times. If you want to offer large images consider thumbnails that link to the full image on another page.

Do use alt tags and titles with your images. If you have interesting images they may show up in image searches if properly tagged. Bots can't see images so they need the text clues.

winkor just said is true, if your image/graphics are to large or to much resolution that can make harder to load all of the content, it might effect ranking also

I don't think that graphic affects sites' PR, but if you have lot of graphic, maybe site loading can become slow

Generally PR depends on the quality but graphics plays important role in the PR. If you include more graphics than it will take more time for loading. So its better to use less graphics.

I'm not sure about PR but it can effect rankings since it can effect how user friendly Google determines the page is and the loading speed of the page. User friendliness and loading speed plays a role in rankings.

As most members have mentioned, poor usage of graphics can lead to a slow loading website, which compels your website visitors to click away. Graphics enhance the appearance of your website to give the first hand impression to your visitors but you have to use them professionally. Optimise them before loading them to reduce their size without compromising on their quality. Use animated graphics sparingly and only when they add value to your page because they are always very heavy and when you put several of them on one page, it makes your page look crowded which shows lack of professionalism.

Other aspects that can affect your PR include among others poor or broken navigational links, wrong spellings and grammatical mistakes, failure by your visitors to know your product on your website, poor organization and lack of online credibility.
