I've been learning for quite some time Wordpress to create some very good websites.

So I'm wondering, where can I find customers that will pay me some money to create a site for them?

I need extra money, so if anyone can help I would appreciate it!

Try odesk.com . You have to make a good name first before you get a regular flow of tasks. Also try fiverr.com for a start. Check how you can offer your service for $5.

Don't forget you can use your own blog to promote your service. Place discount and offers to your service and place banner on your homepage. So, that your each visitor will see your valuable service easily!

i know there are some lie html design forum specially for webmaster,anyway you can search this kind of forum on google ...i will say dp,bhw,fiverr,warrior,wickedfire,sitepoint

There are several methods available for finding contract jobs including referrals and repeat clients. Try Guru.com., computersjobs.com, elance.com which are the three very different sites for finding independent contract projects .

Try also offline marketing. You can find potential clients right in your local community especially those business entities requiring web presence.

Dont forget to search google as well as you can register at freenlancer.com or superlancer.com

as said already by webspider ,try offline marketing.go to your local supermarket that has an ad board & put a flyer up ,if you are good at sales try calling in at businesses offering your service or split the profit with a friend that can talk the talk.

Get your website to place high in the search engines for terms like "web page design" or "web design prices" - that where my firm brings in our clients, keeps three designers going full time!

for starting scriptlance.com could be fine , but you will do very cheap jobs , after satisfaction on customers you could get more and more job.
But generally in all website you must do for cheap prices especially , Indians are doing everything for very cheap prices this is the problem.

Start in popular webmaster forums like Digitalpoint, Sitepoint, namepros, DevShed and here. Offer cheaper simple services and finish your offers you get fast and in professional way. You will get get lot of positive feedback and reviews. Move to bigger services slowly without loosing your clients trust. These forums are the best places to get clients at early stage of your business.

Make a site and build put a good portfolio of your work and move to those freelance sites. You can bid for projects and get those.

I have. when I stared freelancing I try to catch the local market. classified ads on local news papers got reasonably got responses. Also I had a deal with guys who were running net cafes communication centers. They found clients for me and I payed them 10%- 15% commission. It was a win win situation for both parties. I got lots of smaller but simple projects and they receive 10% just by talking to people.

Post on forums, get yourself a website, let the clients roll on and the money too.
