WordPress named 'Pepper' to it's all new version 4.6

We all know that WordPress is excellent platform to create free websites without having any coding knowledge and it is the easiest and prettiest way to create beautiful websites with the help of themes and plugins.

Recently on August 15, 2016 WordPress released new version called Pepper it is the 4.6 version, older one is 4.5.3

We can find the broken links easily, we can store the editor data in offline also, performance and loading speed is increased and much more.

When did they start naming versions? I never noticed that before.

They have been naming them for at least 2 years I think. Nice that they can identify broken links, I used to use a plugin for that.
