I'm new to this forum. I want to share my Speed Optimization experiences here. I post them below this post.

If you've checked your site in gtmetrix.com, maybe you got the "leverage browser cache" & "Expires header" error. With adding this code to your htaccess, you can solve this problem and speedup your site

Make sure the images used in your website must be below 100kb.
Make sure there will less java script files in your website. If there are many files
It wilk take longer time to load.

Of speed is a great issue during the development , recently I had developed a website regrading accommodation and I was damn slow I couldn't figure out what was wrong then I understood the free Html template that I had included in it had a lot of JavaScript thus made it slow but now I have rectified it and the site is working great.

Try to make your website light as you can, in other words don't make your website too heavy otherwise it will hurt your speed and if it is not opening in 4/8 seconds its mean you can loose customers as well as visitors. So always try to make your website fast, for this purpose you can use Wordpress themes because these are user-friendly as well as search engine friendly.

Whenever you are using any image for website, then make sure to save it for web to reduce the size and do not use inline css and javascript. It is also recommended to load javascript in footer.
