Most important point in responsive web design process.....

I have started web designing five years back.
In those I used to write html code with tables.
We don't have advanced css styles properties.
But now we are in responsive web design generation.

Okay, what is the important point in responsive web design.
We may have one million important points. But I want to start with
Fundamental concepts.

View port meta tag is the very important tag in responsive web design
If you will not mention view port meta tag then web looses it's responsive
Properties.

Yes you are right.
And one thing we have to remember here is, view port meta tag will not allow the user to zoom in/out the screen when it is displaying in mobile devices (smart phones / tablets).

Recently i have worked for a big responsive web design project. There i have been coming through many things related to responsive web design.
