Not for me! Social bookmarking is one way to get links but in my experience no where near to article writing and spinning. I have several web sites on the first page of Google without a single Social bookmark. Know of any web site that use Social bookmarking exclusively for link building that rank on the first page of Google for a mildly competitive keyword?

Social bookmarks will get your website noticed and are good for some very low competitive keywords, but they main purpose is to give some push/strenght to existing backlinks.
