The never ending efforts to stay ahead of Google has thrown up this type of network that limits the numbers involved. tries to minimise or eradicate any footprint and thus keep benefit for its subscribers.

Having looked at these they do seem interesting especially the ones that seem to have thought through all or most of the aspects that could allow them to be spotted.

I wonder if anyone here has any experience of using this type of gig?

I have not used this type of gig and it sounds like it is just the next 'blog/article network' like BMR. It might work for now but then it might get penalised when Google figure out how to spot it or they slip up.

If you want to do it you could just slowly build your own network of sites. It will take more wok but then at least you have control over them and you can delete the links quickly if they turn bad.

Public or semi-public networks like BMR/ALN/FBL are history in terms of their effectiveness. However, private networks are still just as effective as ever, if not more so now. If you can afford it, building your own private network for just your own sites will be one of the best investments you will ever make.

Just make sure to vary the ips (class-c level or class-a or b, if you're paranoid like me)/domain registrar/hosting, etc... And don't use adsense or ganalytics on those... That's kind of a no-brainer, but it has to be said...

Now no link package works perfectly as it is Penguin update!

Building your own private network does take time and money but if this is a linkbuilding method you are serious about and set on doing it is the only way to rmain fully in control of these links. As mentioned the semi public and "paid membership" type networks are soon to be if not allready (like lots of the big ones) in the Penguin litter tray!
