can you guys recommend some ways to get quality links ?

When it comes to links i always keep in mind one important principle: it is not the quantity of links that is important, but the quality. I know this like others do, but things will always become complicated when it comes to how to do it, so can you guys recommend some ways to get quality links ?

    Thanks for any help!

    Few tips for quality backlinks:

    - Quality content is necessary to generate natural backlinks.
    - Submit the site on niche directories.
    - Signature link on Forum with active participation.
    - Participation on social network and communities.
    - Social bookmarking on high traffic bookmarking sites.
    - Guest blogging with quality content and
    - Blog commenting on niche sites.

For quality backlinks, focus more on relevancy, authority and traffic of the site from which you gain backlinks.

I think the highest quality link is the contextual link that placed on the homepage. I know it’s hard to find this kind of link but believe me 1 link like this is better than thousand spam link from blog commenting.

You can also look for quality backlink by spreading article in premium private blog network such as BMR. Hope that helps!

How relevant the page is to the url it is linking to is probably the most important aspect of a quality backlink.

These factors play a role in how relevant a page is to your backlink.

    1. The title of the page(If it consists of keywords related to your backlink)
    2. The h1 tags in the page(If they consist of keywords related to your backlink)
    3. The content of the page(If it is unique and consists of keywords related to your backlink)
    4. The amount of content in the page(E.g. 300 words > 100)
    5. Other OBL/Outbound links on that page if there are any. if there are other OBL's on the page for urls that are not relevant, it will take away from the overall relevance of that page.

You can create quality backlinks that have 1, 2, 3 and/or 4 with creating social bookmarks and posting articles on blogs and article directories.

Social bookmarks usually never have more than 150 words. Around 50 at most, but they can have 1, 2 and 3 of the above. Posting articles on blogs and submissions to article directories can have 1 to 4 of the above making these type of links the most relevant.

5 usually applies to blog commenting, and isn't a problem as long as there isn't a high percentage of OBL's and the links are relevant. Otherwise if there is, you want to avoid getting links from pages like that.

Other factors that play a role in how much quality a link can have is the pagerank of the page and/or the pagerank and age of the domain for that page. High page rank and high age = high trust, authority and quaility. .EDU domains tend to be around 20+ years old which gives them a lot of authority from Google due to their age, so getting a link from these type of sites is good for quality.
