In my opinion Directory, Article, Press release, Forum Commenting and Blog commenting is really the best way for link building.

Forum posting, blog commenting and social bookmarking are best methods of link building which i use daily base and it really helps me to get traffic to website.

According to me all link building methods are best for get quality backlink. Best link building methods such as directory submission is the best way for get quality backlink, forums posting and blog commenting both are good for backlink and also generate traffic,social bookmarking and social networking sites are also use for get backlink and instant traffic.

My suggestion: To create a wordpress theme-template and set as footer your anchor text-domain per default. The, all users of you template will have your link als footer.

But to create a good and usable wordpress template you musst be really good in graphic design...

I vote for press releases and video submissions (w/ backlinks in descrip or profile). There are many sites in these types of CMS that people aren't using, therefore, they will be something different in your linking profile that others haven't spammed to death.
