If your browser is Firefox, you can install the nofllow-dofollow Plugin. after activating this plugin, every dofollow link is underlined with blue color and every nofollow link with red color! I think, thatīs the easiest way!
You can also check it by view source code.
There's a lot of myths and fairy tales about dofollow and nofollow. The bottom line is, a nofollow link will count as a backlink, and so will a dofollow. The great thing is, so many people ignore the no follow links because of the myths and fairy tales, that I get a lot links that count others ignore. If you don't believe me, I'll refer you to your links in Twitter. If you know how to do searches, you'll notice links from twitter show up. They are no follow. Links from Facebook are no follow, yet they appear in the SERPs and in your back link totals.
Stay well in 2012
Good tips, WTP. That squares with my experience as well--dofollow is becoming less and less important as the online game evolves.
A no follow link won't give you link juice which means it won't help you to increase your Google page rank. But looking for only do follow links can be more like calling for trouble since Google would wonder why your site only have Do-follow links. So you need to have both. Also this do/no follow thing matters only to Google.
But even Google now focus more and more on content rather than backinks.
You can right click your mouse, select 'page source'. For a quick way to find things in all this HTML coding, you can go to the top of the page and click 'edit' , 'find' and type in what you are looking for in the box at the bottom left of the page. The default is dofollow but if you find nofollow (a rel="nofollow" href=) then you will not get any backlinks.
I think no-dofollow plugin is the best if you are using firefox.
Use seo quack tool it also show no follow link where ever you have no follow link it underline every no follow link use it
Install searchstatus. It is a good plugin to use. Just try to install it and check at highlight nofollow links.
If you are using firefox, there is an add on called "nodofollow" that is really useful for this sort of thing.
NoDofollow is really good for SEO, I use it along with SERPtrends daily
I use SEOmoz toolbar, there is a free version and it works very well.
There are 2 ways for you to check DoFollow and NoFollow Links:
First , you have to follow these steps, on your Firefox, highlight the link you want to check, then right click on that, choose "view selection source" and check "rel" tag. If rel="nofollow", it means this link is nofollow. If rel="external" or no "rel". it means this link is dofollow.
For the second way, all you need to do is installing a Firefox plugin call nodofollow here, and all links will be checked. The plugin is activated when you right click at anywhere on Firefox window and choose NoDoFollow. This NoDofollow Firefox plugin will highlight in blue color the dofollow link and in red color the nofollow link.
If you are using Firefox or Chrome you can install 'Quirk Status' or 'SEO Quake' to see nofollow links.
