I mainly use article directories and web 2.0's to boost my rankings. Quality backlinks are important but I get a lot of everything so I have a good mix of links

Yep, all the above plus press releases, software and video distribution. Off page SEO is all about creating good, relevant content and distributing it (with a link back to your site of course).

If you just want the High PR, you must create backlink from web 2.0, and social bookmarking. It's work for me.

Hi, no more simple than that what make a site web 2.0 I thought they were sites designed in html5 with a simple clean layout?

Web 2.0 sites are sites with primarily user generated content. Think Facebook, Blogger, Squidoo, Wordpress.com and a myriad of others. The thing that gives power to these sites is that they are crawled very frequently so new content is picked up almost instantly, including your links. Web 2.0 and simple clean layouts have been around a lot longer than html5. While some html5 features are supported by the latest browsers it is not even a fully formed spec as yet.

Guest posting and document sharing works really well for me. Submitting videos on video sharing sites will get you some high pr backlinks as well.

There's no one "best" method--the more different methods you pursue, the more link diversity you'll have and the more your site will benefit from your linkbuilding efforts.

I've definitely noticed that guest posting on quality sites has the most powerful impact on a site's rankings, though. On one site, I'd been doing slow but steady backlinking for about eight months, and then last August I got one solid high quality guest post and my site leapt from #5 to #1 for my targeted search term within a week.
