Thread: Need advice for link building

I have a website related to "making money" and it's exact searches is around 25 000 globally..... how effectively, I have to do link building for this.

It passed around 6 months and it is making up down from 7th pages to 9th pages of Google. I'm not able to understand why... please help me.

You are targeting a highly competitive keyword.

I will suggest you to compete first low search keywords and learn how to make your site at top.

dude.. that keyword was really high competitive.. that keyword usually conquer by 'big boy' out there that invest a lot of money in term link building... as idrees said, at first try to compete low search keyword first

With a high competition keyword like that one, you have to do a lot of quality backlinking. Try link pyramids with many tiers and an increasing amount of backlinks to each layer. High competition isn't impossible, it will just take a LOT longer and you have to build quality links faster and better than the top 10 in Google are building them.

for me no matter how high or low the competition, the powerful of link building will determine the ranking factors.. some people invest so much in term of link building so as to make sure they can climb on top of google ranking.. so make a calculation for yourself in term of ROI (return of investment)

yea, but you are looking at a keyword phrase that has about as many searches, if not more than phrases like videos, movies, music etc. Mixing the high ranking keyword with a low ranking keyword might be a good idea either onsite or in an anchored link back to your site... or trying to rank with a secondary keyword etc. i think the main reason your site is going down instead of up is that others are creating more and more sites online, using those exact keywords, and then flooding the internet with backlinks to their site. Backlinks that are probably more than you have done so far. Search engines see this and lower your rank because the other sites seem to be more authoritative than yours is.
