Thread: Bookmark submissions VS directory submission

Do you use Social bookmarks or Directory submissions your main back link methods ? Which is the best method ?

Guys don't say both good. Everyone knows that. I'm asking about which is better and why do you think so.

For me social book marks are better than the directory submissions.

Why do you prefer Social bookmarking to directory submissions ?

directory submissions not guranteed links and are too deep in site

When i used better social bookmarks, it increased serps and got more visitors to my blog. But I think if we talk about PR, blog comments are more better

Also when you use Bookmark profiles you can ping them and even build couple lot links and get better result for your sites in the profile. You can't do that in a web directory. Biggest thing is you need to wait and see if you get accepted into the directory.

directories sucks, but maybe they help to develop PR more than what social bookmarks do. Once I submitted my blog to about 500+ sites and only about 30 or 40 approved

I don't think they much help for site PR. How many directories do you which has PR in their inner pages. Not a lot expect those biggest and oldest directories which don't accept all sites. Yep approval rate can be law which is more like waste of limit submitting sites to those.

PR matters on the quality of the backlinks, even 1 PR 10 backlink might increase your website PR to 3. Depends on the website and overall score of the website.

I use social bookmarking to increase my rank, and success. Try to using social adr because it will bookmark your URL to hundreds account with different IP. I love to using it.

Here i prefer social bookmarking is better than directory submissions to gain backlinks..
