We all know article marketing is an effective way to get quality one way, do follow links.
But these days (in my opinion) video marketing is becoming more and more effective.
Here's how it works: you create a video, upload it to a video directory (like YouTube), and you can add a link (backlink) to your site.
The only problem is it's a waste of time to upload the same videos over and over again (SEO wise).
Just like with article marketing, the key is unique content – or to upload a unique video to each directory. Otherwise your links won't count.
This can obviously be quite time consuming. And expensive.
So here's a shortcut that works:
First, get a bunch of photos to use relevant to your niche from Google. For example, if I'm trying to get links for a site related to "dog training", I'll do a Google search for "dog training", click the "Images" tab and download as many photos as I can.
Then go to Animoto dot com (sorry, can't post links just yet).
You'll have to sign up for an account. For free you can create a video that's up to 30 seconds long.
Then all you do is upload your photos, select a template and music to use and bada-bing, bada-boom, you've got a 100% unique 30 second long video you can upload to any video directory you like! And you can create as many unique videos as you want. You're only really limited by how many photos you have at your disposal.
Don't know which Video Directories to use? Here's a list to get you started (you'll have to Google them, as again, I can't post links just yet):
