As we know Wikipedia is a nofollow but backlink from wikipedia is like a thumb up from president for Google...
Very Little amount of wiki backlinks can rank a site..
What about importance of nofollow?
If next update of google will be a good for nofollow backlinks what you say???..
Yes Wiki Backlinks are really important and so as the nofollow tag as if a domain is having all dofollow backlinks than google bots thinks of this domain or website to be a spam as everybody who is giving links are not always dofollow so it hits google bot as a danger
You can say in some ways no-follow links are useful for websites.
i think no follow links are not that much important for website.

Whether it's follow or nofollow, you have to look at links like salt on top of a steak. You just want enough to make the food taste good and over do it will ruin the food. Even though you getting nofollow link but if the nofollow link link if from authority websites (eg, Wiki), then it's still consider very powerful as attribution. Always look for releated link and links from authoritative sites in my opinion.

I don't think nofollow links will impact your seo. But they can sometimes be good for traffic though.
