Thread: Backlinks trough Youtube

The question is:

in case we upload a movie on youtube and in the movie description we are entering Links ( it will be working as Backlinks for us) but not only 1 link for the specific site, no, we are entering each 20 subpage links too from our target site. That means we have 20 Strong Backlinks from youtube to your target site, for free.....

How you think that will help, or google is smelling that and punish us?

that it dont look like spam, we are posting each subpage link once only, one by one.... a website with arround 20 subpage , from each page the link under the youtube video, in the video description....

It will work good, because your linkbuilding profile needs to have variety of links from as many different places as possible.

agreed, you need variety, I would also vary your anchor text and even just use your url, as not to raise a flag with google!

Why not go to a different video site every time? First time if you have uploaded to Youtube, then the second submission could be on Vimeo, the next one on metacafe and so on.

Good for making Linkprofiles looking more natural.. but no rankings benefit!
There are too many spammers and scammers out there also using youtube lol.

The description on YT vid is good for direct traffic but not links as much because they made them no follow. However if you maje it a good looking vid in a good niche some sites will scrape your vid and put it in their site thus giving you 20 backlinks from that site and not YouTube. So it works in a roundabout way.

The only thing is if YouTube itself sees your vid ad spam they will take it down and warn you. I have had it happen myself.
