A simple method to find relavent Back-link

You don't need to have software to analyze competitors backlinks or anything. open a Excel page and then make a tab for each keyword you target. Then open Google and search using each keyword. check first 10 pages and save all sites which you can get a black link in some way. repeat this for each keyword. Now you can do same for Yahoo and Bing. when you are done you will have a decent list of potential sites which you can try getting back-links. Sometimes you will need to search 20 - 30 pages. Also check the Google Blog search too.

Excellent info I did not know this. Do you know if it true that google will drop your rankings if you grab websites off their search engine to backlink to? I am using the free software from out rank smart and it only recommends grabbing sites from Yahoo and then went on the explain about the Google deal I mentioned above.
The crazy part is my site was ranking at the bottom of the first page for google under the key word I targeted and after using this software I went to the 2nd page about 2 slots down Has anyone else used the software I mentioned?

I don't think they do. After all you are linking with relevant web sites and you might even get same sites from Yahoo and Bing too.
