Single Most Important Factor To Rank High In Google

The propensity for Google and Bing to bias towards exact match domains in the rankings is the clue you need to rank high. If the keyword phrase you are targeting is "Gold Ear Rings" and goldearrings.com is already taken then goldearrings.ws is the best choice for a domain name. see http://www.seomoz.org/blog/

No, but for the example I used above the only Top Level Domain (TLD) for "goldearrings" that wasn't already taken was the .ws extension. I always take them in this order: .ca (if site is in Canada), .com, .net, .org, .biz, .us (if site is in USA), .info and .ws - no data just my preference.

I agree on this, also try to use your main keyword in the beginning of the url and then ad sufix, not prefix then main keyword.

But there is such a thing with domain names. If u got .us domain google automatically set your website focus on usa users. .in for indian , you can't choice any other option by this way. But with com, net, org you could choice what you want.

I bought one domain name .in and Im 1st one in google.com but not in google.com.tr , so keyword domain is important but also thing about local things.

Hyphenated domains are a good option if a single-string keyword sequence isn't available. Don't believe ANY baloney you might have read about hyphens being 'bad' -- just more SEO B.S. that gets tossed around without any real proof. My #1,2 and 3 performing sites have TWO-or-THREE-Hyphens-In-It and are doing just fine.

What I have seen recently with exact domain name matching - ON YOUNG SITES less than a year old - is that Google may only send you traffic on THAT ONE KEYWORD PHRASE and it'll take time before they'll send you long-tail keywords! Bing/Yahoo traffic will send other Phrase-Match traffic in the meantime.

If the exact match domain is not available, try the exact match plus an irrelevant character.
    For example, "yourkeywordphraseX.com".

Google "tinnitus miracle" for a good example fo this in action.

It's important not to fret too much about domain name choices. Exact Match may give you an edge early on - but it becomes less of a factor over time.

Even if you had "my-horrible-domain-choice(dot)com" your choice of SUB-Folders and page naming or blog permalinks can completely override it.

    "my-horrible-domain-choice(dot)com/top-keyword/ranking-well-for-my-top-keywords-anyway.html"

Bottom line, domain name is a MINOR piece of a much bigger and more complex puzzle. But an exact match domain definitely doesn't hurt, that's for sure.

as I know, keywords in domain is good mostly to rank new sites. For older domains, it doesnt matter. By using domain samurai, you can choose a pretty good domain. Anyways domains with keywords sometimes have advantages than the domains without keywords

The other point about an exact match domain name is that google BOLDS the words that match the searcher's query.

Therefore if the search query is in the domain name, as well as the title and description then all those words are bold. This can help to attract the searcher's eye to your listing and hopefully get the click.

Hi...I would say "Never". Even NET or ORG TLD also can not defeat COM. I have a seo related site which has dot CO dot IN extension. I got good ranks on indian google but when people use to search the same keyword from USA or Australia, My site shows on 7th page.
