Within very short span of time Google has brought 3 major algorithm changes; namely Panda, Penguin and Recent EMD one. Many people have lost their ranking due to these algorithm changes and still loosing their ranking.
How is your websites doing after these changes?
My niche sites which were ranking #11 for their main keywords are no where in the top 100 SERP's. :(
But I hope they'll bounce back as some authoritative sites point them (backlinks).
Most of my sites are bounced back. I am now waiting a few days but don't stop content writing and link building process. I will see what happen shortly

vf8170 you were probably hit by the Panda update that started just about the same time as the EMD update since you don't have EMD sites the EMD should effect you. But both the Panda update and the last EMD update started on Sept. 28 the EMD is done I am not sure if the Panda update is done yet.

Oh and as far as my sites go. I haven't seen any major change a drop of 2% of the traffic on one site was the worse but I see that occasionally on a normal basis.
Then I really don't get it. It just died about a week or so ago, one day. All good content, social popular, not a huge amount of bad backlinks etc. I don't know why Panda ( I think you meant Penguin?) would effect it.

Well my all websites are fine till now, I see an up down in keywords rankings but not a Hugh difference.
My site is doing fine. Still on page 1 for most competitive keywords in my niche. I put it down to doing things legally and with using wisely tools like IMT supercharged bookmarks etc

It is becoming more and more difficult for simple web builders like me to keep up with Googles demands.I hope one day soon they realize that not everyone has unlimited budgets, time, staff, knowledge and other resources to to meet their demands. Perhaps they they need a layered approach to ranking sites.
MY site has dropped for www[dot]lac-dernier[dot]com but if found on pages from 26 - 40 in the search for www[dot]lac-dernier[dot]com/carp-fishing-in-france-the-lac-dernier-lake.html

after last update i saw frequently updated sites are performing well!
My domain is an EMD one and I am not that affected.. but I feel the update... Bad thing happened :(

I have 3 pages. 2 were nearly uneffected from all this updates, because they are new and didn't had some good positions but my mainpage went in many serps from first three results back to end of page one or beginning of page 2... Hope next change will not push them more far away.
