Will Google keep its first place?

I ll come to the point what I wanted to ask here for long time. We know already, Facebook, yahoo and Bing joined against Google and Bing too challenging Google and its algorithms.. As challenging, its giving much more relevant search results and image results than Google for recent days. And Facebook is the king in social media while Google plus not in top five places. Everyone(FB, Bing, Yahoo) is trying to give the best replacement for Google products.. I think, Google is losing its capitalism.

Can Google beat all these competitions? Please Share your thoughts to make ourselves clear.

I think Google will beat them, people are becoming more and more aware of Google+ these days and the more people use that has got to help Google in the social side of things surely. I am learning so this opinion could be rubbish but I think Google will come out on top in the end.

I don't think Google+ will ever be the "go to" social community like FB. I have not got into G+ much but only see it as something that webmasters would be interested in for serp positions. I don't think the every day person is ever going to really use it.

As for them beating Google in anything else like searching the web, Google has to much money and is connected to the government to much. Bing might have a chance in the future but I doubt it.

I cant see Google+ overcoming Facebook, FB is just too widely used and people have history there, old photos, etc. But nothing lasts forever, especially in the IT world

In ten years time the chances are we will be saying things like "do you remember when people used myspace and facebook..." "do you remember googling for info.." something new will come along, and the next generation will make a new social site their first choice.

Google and FB are becoming too commercial, an eventually people will tire of it and move on. They both are likely to make some big mistakes financially at some point. Look how big AOL were, and now....?

If you consider traffic Facebook has already beaten Google and now number 1 website according to Alexa. But both site is different altogether. The real threat Google can get from is Bing. But there search algorithm isn't very 'reliable', so people prefer Google big time.

Google as a search engine will keep lead but for its other services it is losing . Only blogger and webmaster use google+ i didn't see any of my friend using g+ all are addictive to fb group pages and profile

I agree with you to a point. I think Google will last longer than another generation. People are kind of dumb lol... Google collects so much information on users that it is scary. People just seem to care. All they know is Google has some cool tools and doesn't put much thought into Google knows about everything there is to know about you.

Google is trying to keep up with Facebook. But I'm not sure if they can match the social power of FB. But again millions of people use Gmail and Google is trying to G+ to Gmail users. I wonder it will become another dud like Googe checkout. We had high hopes about Google checkout think it would be a good match for Paypal. Didn't happen.

google+ has a long road to go, but big brother will beat them all.

No, I believe google will not loss his capitalism anytime. Also I believe once google plus must will reach on first place:)

I don't think facebook can outrank the Big G in terms of relevance ...

Seeing the way in which Google's opponents are working, I think Google will be crowned #1 at-least for a couple of years.
