The right process to reach Top 10 position on Google

Today my question will surely help all the newbies in SEO world who do not know about Google ranking procedures.

So here we go. I am still novice and learning everyday about the SEO procedures.

My question is:

What is the correct process of promoting a website to reach Top 10 position on Google.

I am actually working on promoting 2 websites. The website I am working on is not even ranked on Top 100 on Google. It is on indexed.

So I need help from the expert with all your tips.

Mainly depends on the website, and the competition. Create relevant content, include the keywords in it a couple time. Receive quality backlinks from the same niche. Link build, Link build, Link build, then research, research, research, and then link build some more .

But the best methods for ranking up are guest blog post, Wikis, article directories.

I also would suggest you build some good 2.0 sites, and link them to your main website using the keywords you want to rank for. You can create one at Squidoo.com.

Am joking. Your niche is great (if you still on about the football one) I know this niche well and I know that football shares! Make up plenty of articles and share them around with links to you. For example my website is an article submission website related to football, we can maybe help each other out just PM me. Since August I have had over 180K page views on my website and that was doing it the social way and basic SEO.

All I have done is build up a Twitter and Facebook. Added content on my website (although most is not mine) Shared it via Twitter/Facebook for traffic.

I have done basic SEO. With over 200 posts on my website it is generating a number of pages and these pages are beginning to hit more and more people via the searches.

But football shares. If someone likes it they tweet it then someone else tweets it, 40% of my traffic is Twitter 40% is Facebook and rest is from Searches.

My point is, for the niche (the FA one) you don't need a top rank just yet. That will come later!

Yea you can do wikipedia manually, but try other wiki sites. You just have to search around for some. Again, I offer a service for that, if you want I could lower the price. Private message me.

Please don't use low quality directories that will harm your site ranking instead good rank position.

Thats a good point. Ones that have been known to Google for abuse which are normally low ranking and spam look articles will certainly not help.

A good researched keyword with low competition and fresh content regularly are the key to success for me.

Keep this in mind. High - Low (High Search Low Competition) By these way you can easily achieve fast ranking from Google's Top 10. But just in case you have a competitive keyword to rank for the I suggest you build back links and I recommend Guest Posting for this one, in my personal opinion this is the best method of achieving quality back link but always remember that for you to be able to achieve this you should have quality guest post so that your targeted blog to get links for will accept your request of posting with them and getting back link in return.

I think the best way for you to gain benefits is force feed people with your information, as in get people to read your stuff by going to them directly. Football forums, Facebook fan pages, etc.

I feel that social media is def playing a bigger role now and everything is converging to online interactions to build trust and authority to content marketing. The only thing is the amount of work and time involved to build these relationships.
