Thread: Preferred Domain What Best...?? www or without www

First, sorry if this questionable ever... i'm newbie...

i have a problem to choose my domain in google webmaster, what best choose with www or without www.. what the best for SEO...

It does not really make a difference as long as you choose one and are consistent. You should do a 301 redirect with your hosting account redirecting the alternate to your chosen preference. Now days I tend to use the name without the www but being consistent is the key.

You can use both. That way no one will miss your site. I don't think it has an effect on SEO.

without is best i think, you can use redirection and it will be ok.
For seo purpose it has an effect (in my newbie point of view) without redirection you can have duplicate content.

most of the time it does not matter, but make sure you are using 1 method. you want to make sure you are using the same when your doing and branding. if your using tools for seo the only thing that comes up most of the time is to remove http, but www or no www does not matter.

but I have an issue with duplicate content ..
I get a lot contains a duplicate ..
whether it's because I previously was not preffer..??
