Thread: Whats your plan for Penguin

Due to implementation of Penguin lots of sites have been given lower ranking in Google, it is really great loss to those webmaster, now-onwards, what is the plan for link building?

Do I have to use multiple anchor text for link building?

Is there any more thing to know?

I will keep doing what I have done because i did not get hit. Post good articles, build good links and yes mix up your ancor.

For me, I just share to social site to get backlink

Wikipedia style seems to work, lots of information

I would remove your sites from google webmaster and Analytics tools and install different methods

Reduce your anchor text and make some visit website, more information ect and build more links to more pages not just main money pages

.edu, press releases and video cms links... Buying likes and tweets. No article directory links to money pages. And good content.

also make sure you create many tiers giving page rank to your tier 1

I also haven't lost any position. So I will go one as before.

While Linkbuilding I have aways taken care of a certain variety of Anchors, Contents, PRs and almost everything one can vary.

I am thinking of removing Google Webmaster Tools and Analytics too aside from having multiple anchor links and using "click here" "check it here" anchors and promote my links to all popular social media sites.

I will do basic think not post any kind of duplicate content, Post good and unique articles in high PR sites and other on-page and off-page technique .

Traffic from real people, though links on forums - but only where I have a long established ID, no spam and go tactics

Social media, links and shares, some buying of likes and tweets, but keep it varied. Different sources for this so not all the same accounts.

Overall my site wasnt really impacted, some key words dropped more recently, but have bounced back. The main keywords all still doing ok. If you had a spammy site in the first place then you deserved the hit, make the site good for people with quality content and things will work well. Make it for bots and google and they will catch on eventually and kill your serps.

Wiki links, .edu backlinks and unique and quality content.

I don't have any plan because I lost nothing with penguin.

I plan on creating more fresh content. I have already increased my SEO pricing for clients. I have also started post about 3x per week.

I'm stick with google webmaster guidelines which is the most helpful for getting higher ranking in google. I stick with one policy "Follow Google webmaster guidelines." that's it and Done.

Spammy backlinks are causes to drop down keyword's search ranking. So many unrelated sites backlink and low quality directory links are causes penguin attack. Just ignore this type of link.

A lot of contectual backlinks with a few other backlinks like blog commenting, forum profile to diversifying. And also use variations of keywords for diversification. And certainly more and more great unique content.

Yes you've to use different variations of your anchor text. Also make sure you include some generic anchors such as "click here", "visit this site" ..etc etc in your link building efforts

I have diversified the nature of backlink ; the sources as well as the anchors. Moreover I am sharing my site is social sites, Q&A sites more often post Penguin. And I am noticing nice positive effect after doing those.
