If you talking about Sites running wordpress then you are definitely wrong because google has not banned such sites, yours may be one of the victim but that does not mean "Google has banned wordpress"

i have seen lots of website which are on wordpress, i don't think so google banned wordpress related site. I think those site which is irrelevant and spammy could be possible to be banned by Google.
