Thread: Google not index the forbidden web.

Be careful if your website is under construction, should not replace the web chmod to 0000, or be "forbidden", because google will not index your site if the crawlers come back to your website. I have 2 websites and my hosting change the chmod to 0000 just in first week google not index the front page of my website, and make my PR N/A. So be careful dont change the chmod folder to 0000 or was "forbidden" because google will drop your PR and not index your website.

I think when your website is under construction, the best way to notify this to google is to fire 503 error which stats that it is under maintainable and would come back and would not effect on your already indexed pages in its database or ranking of your pages due to this.
