Google has made some changes in its algorithm . because if this, it is taking longer time to cache the things on net and to indexed new content in its database which has good influence on article submissions.

because unless your articles will not get crawled by Google , you will not get more links. so it will tale more time to indexed your all submitted articles even after approval to specific directories.

so you need to do things which can indexed your articles quickly . it can be anything like sharing those articles link to social bookmarking sites or high pr sites so they can get indexed quickly..

Or you can make a rss feed with links to the articles and ping it. So it takes not long to index the articles.

Another tip is to have two or more gmail accounts, and copy + paste the article links (once published) into an email and send it to your other gmail account. Google crawls emails (scary...I know), and you'll have those links indexed in no time. In my opinion, Google is always gonna give preference to its own products so this way works quite quickly - AND - Google bookmarks is a deeply underused product, but one that works well.
