Thread: Getting Pages Indexed

I have about 10 pages of all original content on my site that has not been indexed by Google can someone tell me why this may be?

I will say I added these pages on the 20th of this month is it just possible that Google has not crawled my site or could it be something else?

I can tell one - wait, probably the boat yet was on your pages. Try to add once again your site.

Do you have a sitemap.xml and robots.txt file?

Yes, this is possible. If Google cannot discover your webpages, it cannot index your web pages.

- Create a good Sitemap for your website
- Get backlinks from popular niche related websites which frequent get crawled
- Ping back the search engines to accelerate crawling process

Make sure that these pages are visible, ie you have links to them from the main page of your site, using a Sitemap for example.
And 4 days is probably too short time for Google to index your pages, a little bit more time and it will do it...
