Thread: Does Google Sandbox really exists?

Some people believe that there's something called Google sand box, and some people don't believe it. Me too consider it as a myth but lets talk about Google sand box here.
Do it really exists ? if you think so, why ?

I think there's no sand box, but no reason for me to believe so !! I wanna know what do you guys think about GOOGLE SAND BOX with some brief explanation if possible.

sandbox is like a jail for website. If you break the google rules, then your site will put this place. The indicator is you don't found your site indexed in google search result.

yes the google sandbox is really works. if you break any google rule.

Sandbox is a complete myth. None of the Google representatives ever confirmed its existence, not even in 2005 when the issue was really hyped.

The sandbox doesn't exist. Rather there are penalties and filters that when applied make it appear as if the website has been "sandboxed".

The thing that people need to understand about "the Sandbox" is that it's not a place that all sites go to grow up. It's a concept that people have jumped on to explain what's actually the development of a higher level of judgment on Google's part. In theory, it provides an easy explanation for the trouble that people have suddenly had in getting new sites ranked. In reality, it just shows that the industry is growing up and that search engine algorithms are growing up with it.

LOL. I was one of those in my backyard! However, I personally don't think that it exists. I have been doing IM and SEO for 7-8 years and I have never seen any evidence of it other than the occasional rumor.

I think it does not exist more than what Nemanja has demonstrated as no one has really experienced it. But overall the hype is really good to refrain people from stepping over the line.

How really did this happen? Could you explain it so we may know and avoid any circumstances.

I have focus on link building, maybe I have ping my site too much.

Google and Yahoo bot Last indexed my site by yesterday. But does'nt change anything.

Btw, my site don't have any articles in there. Just Adsense and 1 games, is it break any google's rules?

The Google Sandbox is supposed to be a filter placed on new websites which is proving controversial. It is alleged that a site fails to receive good rankings for its rich keywords and keyword phrases. Strangely, even websites with well presented content, plenty of incoming links and strong Google page rank, are adversely affected by the Google Sandbox effect. And don't go berserk with backlinks, especially not if you don't have any content on your website.
I said this many times before I'm feeling like parrot when building links you need to be smart and make them appear natural and according to your site overall IM presence (like, age, quality and quantity of content, backlinks you have, trust, authority, etc.....)
If you are not doing things the right way, you will raise some flags at Google and they can filter your site down, you want pass their "filters" until you meet some of their SEO quality guidelines....
