Please tell me how Google calculates unique visitors to a website ?

I think Google only calculate their visitors. But you ask about unique visitors to a website then I think it is possible only by IP address.

Yes by IP, cookies, reltive to time passed since last visit.

Google have powerful tracking system. So, that they can easily track any website.

i think they will track by the trafic,IP,cookies,users,so no can cheat google ,even they have many softwares to track all those trafics according to that they wolud pay you.

Its a good question, I think Google Analytics use the cookies to determine unique visitors to a site and Google also have data information of each and every sites.

ya depends upon the visitors ,cookies and all types of data,they will be having all data information,so that they will calculate accordingly,and they will pay you.but many are telling some software is available for increasing visitors,not sure.

Google mostly go after the IP and Cookies and for the record most of the proxy web sites aren't considered are visitors from google. Not even on Woopra (another popular tracking system)
