I want to appear my site in top 10 for a specific phrase.

My website is pickmusic{dot}com phrase is "music videos"

Now I am on position 54.

Any shortcut method?

Just keep building backlinks.

The Keyword "music Videos" is a very hard work!

Thanks dear bunny.. Actually site was first on 70 but after a week I have made it possible on number 54. Previous two days it was on 48.

I am using scrapebox that I purchased. Can you give me anupviews email id?

On the main page of the forum at the bottom is a list of the members who have been on line in the last 24 hours. Find his name in the list and click on it. This will take you to his profile page where he has an email link.

Contact this person for submitting service, seo service, commenting services: Anupviews Profile

He can give you a great service and Im shure that you will rank better!

You seem a bit clueless atm so imo you should first read a lot!
Even if you order services from others you should at least understand what they are and why they will help you.

I don't think that google consider alexa as his ranking factor.

Yeah don't worry about Alexa rankings, it's just something people quote when they're selling their website or something ^^

Right nemanja. Yes google don't consider alexa as it's ranking factor. However the pagerank and backlinks matters. The more backlinks the more page authority=more traffic=more money.

Alexa rank is not important to Google, this seems to be widely known. I agree with SEObunny and nemanja about contacting Anup, because firstly, your keyword phrase has you competing with names like YouTube, MetaCafe, BlipTV, Google Videos to name but a few, with a global monthly search of around 2,240,000, it would be a good area to tap into, but you would have to have more backlinks than any of the competitors I have named here. YouTube has been around for a while and I believe that its not only an Authority site because of that, but because its so widely used, it would have so many authority backlinks that you would have your work cut out for you.

This is a good example of utterly UNREALISTIC expectations.

Did anyone besides Phoenyx actually take the time to look at the keyword competition for "Music Videos" in Google SERPS or run it thru an SEO/Backlink Tool? ONE BILLION FIFTY MILLION results for the phrase 'Music Videos'!!!!!!!! OVER ONE BILLION!!!

Seriously: look up the PickMusic.com domain at Compete.com, MajesticSEO.com, Alexa - looks like the site is only getting about 300 visitors a month these days.

There are currently at most 400 domains backlinking to the domain. Ouch! You'd need to get nearly ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND unique domain backlinks to try to knock out the weakest competitor on Page 1 - and that's YouTube's rival -- VEVO.COM

This is to say You Don't Stand A Chance of ever getting onto page 1 for 'Music Video/s' -- tho there may be other 4-5 word unrelated keyword phrases that do seem to get a dribble of traffic. The only advantage I see is that PickMusic is a well-aged 10 years old.

You could XRumer and Scrapebox and Blakk-Hatt that domain to death building krapp links -- and probably never make it past Page 4 for that keyword...

I dissagree, there are shortcuts to this, but there blackhat and sure to get you sand boxed on google. They will do there dance on you for a long time. You have to have patience or it won't happen. Determination is the deciding factor.

And while you are trying to get quality backlinks and get your name out there and get people to link to you, the competition is doing what they do naturally, sitting back, working on other stuff, while the internet public do their seo work for them. All I am trying to say is this, with the millions that link to let's say YouTube, it would be the hardest task in the world to overtake it. In the end this is what SEO is all about, trying to get more links than your competition to ensure your site remains in the top ten ranking and optimistically on the top of that list. The problem is that you would have to have over 150 000 backlinks, like macgizmoguy says. People say that when beginning a new campaign, its best to work at the campaign for a year before you get the results you want, because of the amount of linking you need to have. With 150 000 for the term music video/s? It's going to take longer than a year, because you are not just competing for links, your site is in competition, and you have to prove to all the youtube users out there exactly why your site is better.

The easiest way to get rank is to Bookmark your site.

I do concede you can temporarily BlackHat bully sites towards the top - Especially since Goog seems to keep 1 or 2 slots on Page 1 open for SAMPLING sites <--- This is an important thing to know. Goog most certainly weighs on-page strength and relevancy, backlinks TO PAGE (not necessarily site), anchor-text velocity, and exact domain name match in INTERESTING ways.

It turns out that several sites of what's on Page 1 is quite dynamic. Smaller, younger, newer sites get their chance. Stuff gets CYCLED in and out. You can get nice little SPIKES of traffic while you are __temporarily__ on Page 1. Then off to the pits you go...

If you're lucky (or more accurately - if you're SMART and a SHARK), you keep refining your keywords, keep targeting, targeting, targeting with laser precision and steadily backlink the hell out of both keywords you CAN currently rank for -- and WANT to rank for simultaneously.
