Question on how google works

Okay all, I have a question. Can I assume that when people search for a keyword through google and select your site, that this helps your ranking if done enough times?

The reason I ask: if people use a search term on YouTube and select (and watch) your video, they see that as what people are looking for. This in turn rises your video in search for that keyword.

How do I know this? I had a video review that was not getting much views. I found a gem of a fiverr deal that would keyword search for your video and select your video and watch it. That gig is not available anymore but it got me thinking, does that work for websites too?

Is there any tools out there that dies this type of thing through google?
