In my small seo experience of 10+ years I came to conclusion that there are only two main things that really matters when it comes to ranking on google.

That two things in my opinion making 70-80% of google ranking algoritam and the rest of 20-30% are some small irrelevant things like site age, dedicated or shared hosting...

So these two main ranking factors are Backlinks & Content.
I put backlinks in front of content only because page without content can rank #1 if it has great amount of backlinks.

Agree with you Nemanja. Thats why all webmaster try hard to focus on link building. Here I want to add something that page without content can rank #1 only if it has backlinks from reputed, high PR site. We can not expect site having thousands of backlinks from PR 0 spammy links can rank #1. For back links, quality really matters.

Nemanja is not saying thet content is not important, Content is still very important factor but you can get good rankings without content if you have really good backlinks.

Google Algo is always been a mystery to all of us. Building never ending backlinks is truly the answer.

For me, I'd rather build my backlinks on fewer high authority sites and higher PR links than that of creating huge list of backlinks on lower PR sites. To me, I find it more effective.. I dont know bout the others. But this is what I believe.

Agree, But I think the most important factor is blog commenting and getting backlinks.

I have created many back links by forum posting. But, I haven't found any signature option to place my sign link on this forum

I have setup all kind of security features on this board, to prevent spam bots as well as people posting spammers.

One of that security feature is that members can't have sigs and post live links in forum posts until they reach 100 posts, after they reach 100 posts they will become advance members with few extra features, you are now quite close to this with 98 posts .

^^ but now he has completed 100 posts but still i'm not able to check his signatures. Okay when i'll finish with my 100 posts my signature will automatically come to all my 100 posts or it will visible from 101 posts?

When you reach 100 and will be visible on all your previous posts, only this is not instantly done when you reach 100 posts, it is done on schedule, every few hours...

I have checked that now, after you reach 100 posts you will have option to have sigs and links in sigs, also to posts live links in posts, but they won't be visible on your previous 100 posts, only to posts after 100, hope this helps.

I will say only relevant/on topic links are important, but to answer your question will give slightly advantage to the links from blog comments from my experience.
