Thread: Google rolled out Penguin 5

Google did it again, 1% of searches are impacted,
so if you experienced some bad traffic since 04.10.2013 then it is it.

As far as I can see nothing changed for me...

My rankings have increased significantly by around 50%.

I don't know what keywords are causing it. When I check analytics for October 5th to now, 'not provided' has increased a lot but all the keywords under I'm already familiar with and already ranked good for so I don't know.

I'm not sure exactly why it happened. I still haven't manually built backlinks in a very long time since after the first Penguin update but my social media votes/shares/Google pluses/Facebook likes etc... have continued to naturally increase at a gradual rate over time. I feel like the latter might have something to do with it.

Because this latest update one of my friend website rank is improved may be because he had unique content in his website.
