When can we expect next update from Google?

    Hello Everyone,

Last page rank update was in February this year. When can we expect the next update? Will there be any update or Google has just stopped concentrating in rewarding the promising sites with good page rank? Please tell if you know any announcement made by Google.

    Thank You

The update could be at any point in time or maybe even never. Google dont make these things clear.

They had been updating roughly every 3 months, but it was not always like that and big gaps had appeared previously.

Updates (of some sort) literally happen WEEKLY now. Many of Google's algo's are being automated based on realtime click-through data - and SERPS are now DYNAMIC and in a frequent state of flux. Check out the daily graph at MOZCAST to get a sense of how volatile daily SERPS have now become.

Penguin 1.0 was the last truly BIG update - everything else has been utterly minor in comparison. Sites being strangled to death STEADY and SLOWLY from ongoing pressure is their new tactic...

I think big one happened in May or June so it should be in this one if you are talking about PR update. But it's hard to keep a count of Google Updates these days. They do so often u can just forget about it unless your sites hit badly.

The last PR update was in February 2013. Prior to that it had been running every 3 months for a couple of years but had more variation in the past.
