Is the guest posting still effective?

Hello Everyone,

2 days back I got an email from an SEO expert saying that guest posting is now no more effective according to the new updates of Google. Actually he send a sales email of his SEO services in which he told that what all will he provide in his SEO service but guest posting was not there in the list and when I talked about guest posting he said that no guest posting is now not effective.

Is it true about guest posting? What do you say? Please share your views and whatever you know in this regard.

it is not true, guest posting is still very much effective, in fact is is one of the strongest tool in driving traffic to your site, only if you know how to do it the right way. it all about creating QUALITY articles for the guesting posting

Yes, I have read it but things in SEO change every month and this was the article published more than a month back so I just wanted to confirm that the position of guest posting in SEO is still the same as it was.

guest posting is still effective! BUT you need make good postings! which people are liking, and as well no copy content. That SEO guy will as well not tell you all secrets, because he want to earn money, but by telling that guest postings are not good any more, he stop you thinking that you can make the work yourself!
