Assuming these guys are on the right track the right track that is a useful heads up. I think I need to do a bit of tweaking :-)

Google are always changing the algo - don't try and game Google, in the long term it never pays off.

PS I heard they were going to introduce the +100 Reverse Penalty - all sites ranking at 100 or over will be promoted 100 places.

We can't stop the revolution. We can only addapt (: Overall I think they are aiming to make a better user search experience, and that's good.

yes I am agreed but whos those are over-smart and playing with Google will get penalty now

I guess there is always going to be changes with Google. I seriously don't think that they are even going to stop evolving their algos. If you think about it, either thanks to technology, or circumstance, google is going to be ever changing, and there is nothing we can do about it, but accept it and take a closer look at our techniques to see where we can change or improve.

Actually nice read and all things which we already know, at least some of us,
always build sites for visitors first, google and others(I hope so) will find their ways to rank you if content is good...

Overnight my rankings have dropped massivly on 5 sites. One is my main site thats just had a new sitemap added. :-/ i really hope its not dropped me for having same domains/h1 and title tags :-/

Many sites on the net are hit by this update,
some of my also, but the strange thing is that some of my sites and sites of my friends which are not using any kind of optimization or linkbuilding at all are hit by this update,
it is clear that this update is not accurate as they wanted it to be(like some previous).
And again some of my sites and sites of my friends which are using SEO optimization and link building are not hit by this,
but we will see in the days that will come how this is going to effect our sites and in which ways.

All my webprojects are okay....

But one website has disappeared completely, although not de-indexed but no longer to be found among the top 100. Previously this site was at number 2, page 1 for a very tough keyword.
The strange also is that the website is still ranking in the Google images search very well. A complete de-indexing did not happen.

Let us wait some days... maybe it will be changed again...

Guess What.... My Number 4 Keyword or Website was gone after I wake up in the morning. Now it was thrown to the 719th place by Google. I wish I could meet Matt Cutts one day, and I would kick his balls. hahaha.

You got be kidding me.. oh my.. what the??? how come keyword like "make money online" result in crappy blogspot site??

Hahhahaha, someone is messing around and mocking with them.

Withe each new update they strike more and more innocent casualties and sometimes they even give credits to some crappy sites as well, but this time the outperformed themselves

omg this is some scary stuff, I have a few websites myself I do backlinking for. Hopefully the google changes won't effect them to much. Thanks for the heads up

If you search viagra in google.com, 2 .EDU sites are in the top 10. 1 of them has absolutely nothing to do with viagra, and the other is labeled as "May have been compromised/hacked" and redirects to a viagra site. And there's another site that is .com and may have been compromised.

More hearsay. That would be pretty silly of them. The sites ranking 100 or lower are there for a reason. Why on earth would they promote them to the top spots? It is baseless speculation like this that makes it hard to find actual useful nuggets of info. Please stop.
