yes and no, to be noticed by google i made some articles with kw density over 6% and after that i can do normal article, so i am in a good amount of kw density 1.5 or 2. And it worked, for low competition of course.

As you mentioned in thread, its enough for keyword ranking. but when it comes to traffic or rank for your website, you need to do some more including on-page seo.

But doing this is only the half battle won we have to d also the on page optimization where everything matters from title to description and also keywords.

I think you should do Directory, Bookmarking, Article, Forum, Blog on good PR sites to increase your keyword ranking.

Truly said.... Things are not as easy as it was earlier.

The most important thing is to diversify the link structure. Use different types of backlinks. Especially contextual backlinks. And also try to use social media sharings. This strategy works nowadays IMO.

Lots of things have changed since the Google update last time. Although those tips would be enough to rank low competitive keywords even today.

I think two factor, for keyword rank
1. Make quality content
2. And get quality backlink (Natural backlink)

There was delay in response....I think these days Guest Posting, Infographics, Web 2.0 Properties, Local Listing, Social Promotion, Theme based directory listing etc works more than normal article/press release submission. Getting a link from authority website is more important than having tons of links from junk sites.
