These are the top 5 SEO tips:-

1. Find a perfect niche and keywords for your post content, In which you are the best.
2. Directory Submission of your Site/Blog URL.
3. Find out No follow and Do Follow sites, and place reasonable comments on their posts/stories. (leaving your name and site/blog address too)
4. Off Page SEO (Off page search engine optimization is a cheap and cost free method to use internet and SEO tips to earn Money.)
5. Social Media Network must be a stronger one and you should also join respective forums.

I know its a bit longer work, but it works the best always.

* Inbound links (reciprocal and one-way)
* Lots of content
* HTML with minimum code clutter
* Deep links
* Site architecture that pushes as much content to the top as possible, and ensures good spider coverage within each individual area
