    Best Way To Spell CTR?

There seems to be disagreeance on the spelling for clickthrough-rate.

    Wikipedia uses clickthrough rate.
Some scientific journals use click-through rate.
The simplest version is the acronym CTR, which is spelled one way.

    Which should we use?
    And which do you use?

I've just ghost written an SEO book and used "click-through rate". Why? Because it's correct!

You mean this version may be correct, because you say so? What is you reference? I do see that click-through should have a hyphen, as it is not an old established word. I could also see a hyphen between through and rate, but that would look odd, click-through-rate.
I think depending on how one feels clickthrough being established or not, one may use or not use a hyphen between the words.

With Google being American I'm surprised it's not click-thru. Proper English (and I mean UK English although I refer to that as English English) proves that it is the way I wrote it....and the fact Open Office (UK) says so, too.
