Understands your SEO objectives, target Market Analysis and make sure its Crawlability ability and Domain Analysis.

To better rank in image search you must use alt attribute with suitable keyword for images in your websites.

Good tip... and there are plugins, like SeoPressor that do that for you!

I glanced through here pretty quickly and did not notice anything mentioned about making sure only unique content is used on your website pages.

One note on SeoPressor too, you have to have a self-hosted WordPress site for this software to work and it is really good like danamaxim mentioned. If you don't and are interested in possibly using it I would suggest using Thesis theme with it too.

I don't think this will do much. The title h1, h2 tags and the first paragraph is the most important part of on-page seo.

Good advice, all this should be standard for onpage SEO: keywords: in Bold, Underline and italics, H1 H2 and H3, links to other sites set as nofollow. Images alt tags have the keyword in also.

Yes he is Very Correct But Make sure about these things also.
- Meta keywords must have Keywords and Keywords Related Phrase and keyword max. limit is around 8 to 10 but its good to keep it with only 5-6 Keywords in Meta tag.
- Apart from that Must Place your Keyword within <h1>, <h2> once in Body with 1 or 2 times with <b></b> within Para's as OP said.
- Keyword Density : try to Keep it in between 2%-4.5%, Never try to make it above 8% as Google may take that as spamming.
