Whats the difference between SEM and SEO? I mean its not noob question. SEM means search engine marketing and SEO means search engine optimization.

SEO is part of SEM and in search engine marketing it involves SEO, Linkbuilding, PPC, SMO.

No this is totally different thing you are saying. SEM is basically promotional techniques that you apply to advertise your sites to get more exposure or traffic and SEO is a part of SEM.

Basically SEO means Search Engine Optimization....SEO is process developing a web page that contain all information that is more relevant and easy to understand.It also improving the page rank & visibility of a website in search engines. Basically it has 2 type
1.Onpage SEO.
2.Offpage SEO.
