I were checking Alexa ranking for some sites and after done my work, I saw that Ezine article directory is under nearly 250 or something and Wupload which is a file sharing site which had not even pass a year on internet and the site got under 220th position on Alexa..
And guys, Ezine directory is here on internet for years, how Wupload had gained the traffic and position in such days..
I can't understand, its because they do allow **** on their sites??
Wupload.com has alexa rank 370 and ezine is 220, still better than wupload. The problem is that ezinearticles traffic is based on mostly organic by Google and recent panda algorithm hit Ezine very badly. Whereas wupload is basically for file sharing with some very good offers, so it has not only targetted traffic from those people who want to download or upload files. So traffic stats are increasing for wupload. I think this is the only reason all of file hosting sites has good alexa ranking.
Yeah ezines traffic droped about 15% as posted by the website itself. I will find article latter and show with you.
Don't forget that you need to take into account that Alexa rankings don't give a great representation either (particular on sites frequented by internet professionals)
