Thread: IMTalk.org great ranking results!

I'm very happy to announce that IMTalk.org forum is doing great in terms of SEO and ranking on google for some main terms since it is just started 1.5 months ago on 06.07.

For a past few days/weeks this forum is on the second page of the google SERP and climbing for terms "seo forum" and "internet marketing forum"as well as some other terms.

I hope that this forum will hit the 1.st page of Google and other search engines very soon for some main terms in this niche.

That should serve as a good motivation to sustain the good effort. Those are competitive keywords. The site in the top 5 with those keywords is an achievement.

Just a little update on rankings, hitted 1st page 10th spot on google today for "seo forum" :

Actually now it is dropped from 7 to 10 place, but it will go up again..., I didn't create a single backlink for about 3 months now, people are building links for me

Quality backlinks and content are the key + mix it up with some lower quality links...
You want every kind of backlink you can find, because it will appear netural and random to the google, but you don't want to over do it...

You need to create something great that people will like to link to, then you "jump start" your backlinks(create by yourself) and then they will be created by others and that is what google strives for.
I know that this is the harder way and most people don't want to wait and they want all now, but this doesn't work that way, it can work, but not long term.

Yea! You're right. I'm too experienced with this. I have created about 3 blogger templates till now and got over 1000 uses of each. Most of the popular blogger template sites link to me

I wish, but in google.de (Germany) this forum is on 21 place for "seo forum" and 12 for "internet marketing forum".
I assume that your google customization based on web search activity is enabled...

Okay... today your ranking is changed but still on site 1

I guess I have some wrong search url then...
I see "seite 2", so this is 13 place which is not that bad considering that I didn't build single backlink in 3 months
I need to "help" this forums rankings a bit , will do that soon as I get some free time...

Congrats I had a look through my google (Google.co.za) and you are on page 1 site 8 for SEO forum and a page 2 site 2 for internet marketing forum.

US results - position #11, top of page two for SEO Forum and position #14, mid page two for Internet Marketing Forum.
