I'm curious about what's the SEO Service and why in most cases is so expensive. Is something that has to be performed on daily or monthly bases?

I guess it depends. I work as an SEO for the company I work for ( along with many of the other duties I perform) and to be honest, I work on SEO daily. I guess its about time, resources, applications used and manpower as well. With your regular profit margins etc. as found in any business, it could really add up to a rather large amount.

SEO is Search Engine Optimization.Its nothing but the online marketing of your site for getting better indexing.It is expensive as business of the site is dependent on the SEO.In SEO process we are promoting the site by using different methods.These methods help to get better indexing which results in more business and indirectly more business.

SEO services are very cheap. They are only expensive to businesses that are not actually businesses yet or businesses that don't work well with the internet (I can't imagine one that doesn't).

Thinking of my clients: real estate agents. I put him/her on page 1, her phone rings like never before. With only one sell a month she earns 3 pts to 6 pts on the sale of a 500k or larger home. So she pays me a monthly fee to keep her on page 1 so she can make several of these 15,000 dollar paychecks. How my tiny fee is considered expensive, I can not tell.

Or my Tennis Teacher client: page one at the top for his local. He has new business like never before. His booking rate went from 80/hr to 140/hr in less than 6 months.

If an SEO could not show you the benefits of what he could do for you, then you either need a better SEO service company or you need to find out if he simply does not know how to communicate what he can do for you. Oh, and the best alternative is to learn it all on your own and find out what you can do for yourself. Your business may suffer, but you will be able to market it online well.


BEWARE: there are large companies with sales reps that promise first position to everyone. Is that possible? Never. They can then only represent one client for each field. And getting your money back from these companies is nuts! Work with an individual that cares and does the job or has a very small dedicated staff and everyone gets involved in making you successful. Optimizing your site, then your GP and the rest of the directories that apply, then your authority, and the rest of the formula which is industry and individual dependent.

Big companies tend to get small clients and then shuffle them to apprentice IMs. Unless you spend high four figures a month you are almost guaranteed to be offloaded to a junior account manager. I had a client send me his entire email trail from one such company. He was paying $1200 a month and the first month they did 15 backlinks. They wouldn't talk to him when he asked for a refund and out of his contract. They issued him a refund and tore the contract up after I sent them an email. A good marketer can also get clients unhooked. We know which threats to use.

So while hiring some one for SEO check their profile and expertise area..

SEO Service make your business visible over internet , your customer can find you in search engines. You must be active by posting blogs, articles, press releases and making links for your site.

The reason it is generally so expensive is because not many people know how to do it well and compete in their markets. Also, most people do not have the time to dedicate the time needed to do proper SEO, therefore they will generally outsource it and pay a premium to do so.
